Job Summary:

As a Hydraulic Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on a variety of hydraulic equipment. This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with our clients to provide exceptional service and maintain strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on hydraulic equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with hydraulic systems
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in hydraulic technology

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hydraulic equipment maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and components
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Contract Details:

This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits package. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime and on-call duties. This position will require travel to client sites within the Acton, MA area.
