We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Boxborough, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and programming CNC machines, as well as a strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and other technical documents
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality of machined parts
• Program CNC machines using G-code and other programming languages
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols
• Develop and maintain production schedules to support on-time delivery
• Follow established procedures and communicate effectively with management to meet quality standards
• Track and report work order progress, including quantities produced
• Operate a variety of equipment across multiple stages of the production process
• Cross-train in machining and assembly functions within the department
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure timely completion of projects
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
• Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines, including knowledge of G-code and other programming languages
• Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Experience with precision measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
