Full-Time Company Vehicle Guaranteed 40-Hour Paid Week
We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Representative to join our Engineering Services & Systems organization in the New Carlisle, IN area. This role offers a company car, strong career pathways, and the stability of a guaranteed 40‑hour paid week.
Expected Annual Salary Range: $82,500.03 – $121,000.04
Actual compensation will vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and market conditions.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Field Service Representative, you will support customers throughout the full power systems lifecycle. In this role, you will:
- Provide startup, commissioning support, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, emergency response, and system upgrades
- Manage small projects independently and lead multi‑technician teams on larger engagements
- Produce accurate and timely service documentation, including reports, performance evaluations, and warranty assessments
- Recommend system improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and performance
- Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners
- Mentor junior technicians and support their development
- Utilize digital tools such as laptops, tablets, IR cameras, smart glasses, and collaboration platforms for remote and on-site work

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma and at least 3 years of experience testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution or control systems
OR
Completion of an accredited trade program and 7+ years of related electrical systems experience - Experience working with electrical distribution and control systems
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
- No relocation provided; candidates must reside within 50 miles of New Carlisle, IN
(Active-duty military candidates are exempt from this requirement) - Valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Electrical or General Contractor License
- Professional Engineering License
- Experience with power quality measurement, troubleshooting, analysis, and protective relays
- NICET or NETA certification
Skills & Position Success Criteria
- Ability to achieve and maintain Field Certified Level 3 safety qualifications through training, mentoring, and examinations
- Willingness to comply with periodic background checks and drug screening based on customer requirements
- Availability to work variable hours, including nights and weekends, and travel as required
- Strong understanding of 3‑phase power systems and low/medium/high‑voltage distribution equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, standing, kneeling, and working in diverse environmental conditions
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in electrical equipment assembly
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate under time constraints and deliver results effectively
