Position: Service Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment at client sites
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Provide technical support and training to clients on the use and maintenance of equipment
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Document all service and maintenance activities accurately and timely
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential service opportunities
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition
•  Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on job sites
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve service offerings

Qualifications:

• Construction equipment mechanical experience preferred
• Prior foreman or supervisory experience
• Strong proficiency in diesel, hydraulic, and small engine repair
• Ability to read and use technical manuals (paper and digital)
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within a leadership role
• High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree or certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
