Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and providing detailed proposals to clients. This is a key role in our company as it directly impacts our ability to secure new projects and maintain our reputation for delivering quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates

- Conduct site visits and collaborate with project managers to understand project scope and requirements

- Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing

- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and proposals for clients

- Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers

- Continuously monitor and update project costs throughout the construction process

- Participate in project meetings and provide cost-related insights and recommendations

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in material and labor costs

- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry

- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques

- Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office applications

- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
